Classification of kettle reactor

1、Water heating reactor

When the temperature requirement is not high, this heating method can be used. There are two kinds of heating system: open type and closed type.

The open type is simpler, which is composed of circulating pump, water tank, pipeline and regulator of control valve. When high pressure water is used, the mechanical strength of the equipment is required to be high, the outer surface of the reactor kettle is welded on the snake tube, and there is a gap between the snake tube and the kettle wall, so that the thermal resistance is increased and the heat transfer effect is reduced.

2、Steam heating kettle

When the heating temperature is below 100℃, it can be heated by steam under one atmosphere pressure; when the heating range is 100-180℃, saturated steam is used; when the temperature is higher, high pressure superheated steam can be used.

3、Other media heating reactor

If the process requirements must be operated at high temperatures, or to avoid the use of high-pressure heating system, other media can be used instead of water and steam, such as mineral oil (275-300 ℃), diphenyl ether mixture (boiling point of 258 ℃), molten salts (140-540 ℃), liquid lead (melting point of 327 ℃) and so on.

4、Electrically heated reactor

Resistance wire wrapped around the reactor barrel insulation, or installed in the reactor from a number of distances from the ad hoc insulator, you can use electricity to heat the reaction. The first three methods to obtain high temperature are required in the kettle body on the additional jacket, due to temperature changes in the magnitude of the kettle jacket and shell to withstand temperature changes and temperature difference pressure.

When electric heating is used, the equipment is lighter and simpler, the temperature is easier to adjust, and no pump, furnace, chimney and other facilities, it is also very simple to start, the danger is not high, the cost is lower, but the operation cost is higher than other heating methods, the thermal efficiency is below 85%, so it is suitable for the heating temperature is below 400 ℃ and the price of electric power is low.

5、Carbon steel reactor

It is suitable for the environment without corrosive liquid, such as the processing of certain oil products.

6、Stainless steel reactor

Excellent mechanical properties, can withstand high working pressure, can also withstand the impact of lumpy solid materials in the material.

Good heat resistance, a wide range of operating temperature (-196-600 ℃), at higher temperatures will not be oxygen skinning, can be used for direct open flame heating.

High wear-resistant corrosion performance.

Good heat transfer effect, fast heating up and cooling down.

Excellent processing performance, according to different process requirements, can be made into a variety of different shapes and structures of the reactor, can also be polished.

7、Glass lined reactor

It is the glass containing high silica, lined in the inner surface of steel container, burned at high temperature and firmly attached to the metal surface to become a composite material products. Therefore, glass-lined reactor has the double advantages of glass stability and metal strength, and is an excellent corrosion-resistant equipment.

8、Steel lined reactor

With steel as the substrate for lining, such as a layer of steel pipe outside, inside can be lined with rubber, plastic, etc., in order to realize the pure steel can not be avoided, such as corrosive media, high temperature or low temperature media. Commonly, there are steel lined PE reactor, steel lined ETFE reactor and so on.

Steel lined PE reactor, lined with polyethylene, is suitable for liquid food and pharmaceutical refining.

Steel lined ETFE reactor is lined with ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer. This kind of reactor has excellent anticorrosive performance and can resist various concentrations of acids, alkalis, salts, strong oxidizers, organic compounds and other chemical media with strong corrosiveness.
